I'd like to thank you for all your help in the team. I know it's been hard for you during the time when we were still lacking resources (no Dino, and Zari still on training). Thank you for coping with that. I think you slacked around enough after that, to make up for it. Still, I don’t think I could’ve managed the team had you decided to move to IMT. So I thank you for staying in DMT ‘til the end.

How’s the backup lead life? I guess I’m not going to get the answer to that now. Hope you learned a lot, not just in terms of technical knowledge, but also in your people skills (i.e. How to handle a team). Based on my experience being a backup lead, I think you enjoyed the position enough. You get to enjoy the power, without all the responsibilities, after all. I’ve been there.

Sorry if I didn’t meet your expectations as a lead. I have to admit that Charles did an amazing job being a lead. And unlike him, I focused too much on operations and our SLAs to also give some of my time for 1:1s. I’m not a good conversationalist, so it’s been hard to make the 1:1s last for around an hour. Anyway, if I was a good enough lead for you, then that’s great. :)
