Hi Marion,
Merry Christmas and Happy Voyage!
I would like to begin by saying very well done in your accomplishments in MDM-AM. I know, from experience, that dual-hatting a lead role and some databases is very stressful. But you were able to handle that (for Incidents, which is harder) well. And that’s on top of being the DM and going through the transition tasks. Looks like it’s been very difficult for you. But you lived through it and it’s all almost over! Congrats!
Work-related stuff aside, thank you for writing everyone a letter (no sarcasm… really!). Because of that, I was forced to start making these letters earlier than I planned to. Writing the letters took more time than I expected and I don’t think I would finish it on time, had I started later.
[After Offsite Addition] You mentioned that you were thankful that you felt accepted in the team, despite the age gap. Honestly, I don't think anyone felt that age gap. I had a saying before that maturity means knowing when to act like a child. I think that saying suits you very much. You made jokes, you had fun, you teased, you laughed, you sulked. All of these made it feel like we're all the same age. And when needed, you showed us your maturity, like when you took care of Carlo during the offsite. Makes me wish I could act like that in times when I need to. [End of After Offsite Addition]
Anyway, good luck on your next role, future endeavors, and your future wedding. Stay pleasant and smiling!
