Jelai

Hi Jelai,

Merry Christmas and Happy Voyage!

If there’s one thing I’ll remember for a long time among what you’ve taught me, it’s that when choosing a career, it’s important to consider the values important to me and see if the career/job matches those values.

A good job/role/career does not necessarily mean it has a high salary or a high position, even if it’s from a very well known and respected company. I have to consider what’s important to me and see if I can get it from that job/role/career. At least this is how I understood it, and how it made sense to me. And I really want to thank you for planting that idea in me.

Aside from that, I’d like to thank you for being an inspiring person for the whole team. Your being well-versed in the processes of our team inspired us work-wise (if that’s a valid word). But more than that, you showed us kindness (not in terms of not bullying anyone) and how to extend that kindness to others, specifically SFK. We have to admit that without your leadership, it wouldn’t last as long as it did. I’d like to thank you for letting us and encouraging us to be part of that.

Anyway, thank you for guiding us both in work-related and non-work stuff. Good luck on your next role and your future endeavors. Happy holidays!
